Adventures of Isaac the Great

  Our friend down in Benalla, Michael still seems to be quite interested. We were going to invite him to church this week but he is down in Melbourne for a couple of weeks. We also had a lesson planned with our friend Robert but for some reason he won't answer phone calls or texts and we were unable to see him this week. On Friday we were able to meet with Geoff although he is having a hard time medically we were able to say a few words on the atonement and how he is not alone in his pain.  After meeting with Geoff we ran into an older gentleman who had some questions regarding the relationship of the Bible and The Book of Mormon which we were able to show a few scriptures that helped to show the Importance of having both together.  Last Monday we were driving to Wagga on for our district council on tuesday and everything was going smoothly.   Zone Conference was really good with a focus on the atonement. The train ride down took an extra long time as there was some delay on the main track as well as a tree that fell on the city line that we needed to take so we had to take a bus through central Melbourne at rush hour. This equated to adding about 2 hours to our travel time. This week we were able to get into contact with and invite several people to come to church this Sunday but none of them showed up unfortunately. We were able to contact Brother Derrmot who we haven't been able to meet, he's a less active member but we talked to him for a bit and he showed us his hat collection and about 10 pairs of leather boots. We recently learned that our friend Rachael will be moving all the way down to Foster for her job, today. We know that she will still grow down there but it's hard to see someone who's progressing so well leave. We had a prayer with her over the phone and left her with a small testimony. Right...
