Horse on the Road

Our friend down in Benalla, Michael still seems to be quite interested. We were going to invite him to church this week but he is down in Melbourne for a couple of weeks. We also had a lesson planned with our friend Robert but for some reason he won't answer phone calls or texts and we were unable to see him this week. On Friday we were able to meet with Geoff although he is having a hard time medically we were able to say a few words on the atonement and how he is not alone in his pain.

After meeting with Geoff we ran into an older gentleman who had some questions regarding the relationship of the Bible and The Book of Mormon which we were able to show a few scriptures that helped to show the Importance of having both together.

Last Monday we were driving to Wagga on for our district council on tuesday and everything was going smoothly. We were about 30 minutes from the flat in Wagga, when another car flashed his lights at us. It was at about 9.00 so it was really dark and the only lights would be coming from cars. Then as soon as we rounded the corner there was a horse in the middle of the road about 20 metres from us. Because we saw about five other people almost hit it like we did, we decided to call the police to let them know. When we got to the flat after all of that it was about 11.00.

Two weeks ago we asked one of the branch members to invite someone to church. With this person he has been taught and understands everything he mostly needs to be willing to commit to being baptised and coming to church. Unfortunately that week he didn't come but yesterday we walked in and saw him sitting there. We sat next to him for sacrament meeting which was also our primary program so that was a good moment for us.

The Rock Summit (again)--below and above.
