Bula all, yous! From The Auckland NZ MTC March 1, 2023

The NZ MTC is not nearly as big as the provo MTC. It's very small even in the largest room where we do sacrament meetings. All of us barely fit. President Rudd told us that this is the largest group to ever be in this MTC. This group that I am a part of has 100 missionaries, whereas the group before us only had 34. Because there are so many missionaries, almost every room has 4 missionaries versus the usual two.per room. I love the missionaries that I share a room with; the other companions are Elder Funk, and Elder Nolan. Elder Funk is from Highland Utah and Elder Nolan is an Aussie. My companion's name is Elder Tokavakarua or Elder Toka For short. He is from Fiji and I just learned a couple days ago that he was in "The Other Side of Heaven 2". Personally I think that my district is the best district in the MTC. I think my district teacher is the best as well. His name is Brother Randell and he is a convert to the church.

I have so much more to share but I'll try to keep it simple so it doesn't get too boring to read. I'll share more stories with you next week.

Just so all yous know, when you write to me during the week I can read them throughout the week, I just can't respond until Thursday :)

  We had a baptism this Sunday so if you read any part of this, that will be the most exciting bit.. It's at the bottom. This week was a bit slow but I would still say it was good. One of us wasn't feeling well so getting out was a bit hard. Tuesday we had our District Council which we have each week. I gave our skills training about finding people to teach, I'm not sure how well I did but I felt like it was okay. Wednesday we had an exchange I was with an elder named Elder Biesinger and for his exercise in the morning he likes to run, so we went for a run that morning and it made me realise just how unfit I am currently Thursday we did our weekly planning and we worked on the program for our friend's baptism (more on that later) we also called/ messaged everyone who we needed to have participate in the baptism. The Past Few Week (June 10, 2024)

  This has been one of the best transfers I've had. Being with Elder Danielson has been really good. Especially because he wants to work hard his last transfer. I think up to this point I want to care less what people think and I'm thinking about how Joseph Smith was told his name was to be had for good and evil. And I want to put forward my effort to keep pressing forward and living every day like its the day of the second coming. On Tuesday's, while we're on out way back to our area, and that has been going really well. I also think that it shows that we want to work even though we know that's what we want to do it's good for people to see that desire to work. Last week we were going back and stopped by a member who gave us a referral for one of his friends but he didn't seem interested at the time. Horse on the Road

  Our friend down in Benalla, Michael still seems to be quite interested. We were going to invite him to church this week but he is down in Melbourne for a couple of weeks. We also had a lesson planned with our friend Robert but for some reason he won't answer phone calls or texts and we were unable to see him this week. On Friday we were able to meet with Geoff although he is having a hard time medically we were able to say a few words on the atonement and how he is not alone in his pain.  After meeting with Geoff we ran into an older gentleman who had some questions regarding the relationship of the Bible and The Book of Mormon which we were able to show a few scriptures that helped to show the Importance of having both together.  Last Monday we were driving to Wagga on for our district council on tuesday and everything was going smoothly.
