Talofa! April 2, 2023
Hello everyone,
Sorry for missing out on the past couple weeks. It's really hard to find time to write although I will try to do better So far there have been so many miracles I can't even begin to count them all. but all them have been special in their own way and I will just share one with you right now. There was this crossing guard that we stopped to talk to and I don't remember her name but we talked to her for a little bit. As we were talking with her, from across the street we saw someone wave to us and she called "hello Elders!" and we responded with the hello. And as we were riding our bikes past her we decided to stop and talk to her. What we found out was that she has been divorced from her husband and when they got divorced that they kind of left the church and stopped being active. We found that before they got divorced her sons had the desire to be baptised. She called her sons and they said that they still want to learn about being baptised. Now she just needs to confirm with her ex husband whether or not that is OK for them to be baptised. This week was really fun this Thursday because we had the opportunity to talk to the youth about what it's like to be a missionary, and talk about missionary life a little bit. we did that for about an hour. we had several groups come in and we asked if they had any questions for us and we answered any that they had for us. It was nice because it gave me a chance to relax and still teach at the same time. It seems like we ride the bikes everywhere and I'm sore from that every day. We went on exchanges a couple of weeks ago as well. I was with this elders in the Samoan speaking ward and that was really cool because I got to learn some Samoan.
Sorry if these are a bit of a drag to read. I'm still trying to get better.
I love you,
Love, Elder Westover
